Recap Thursday evening, May 28

Susan and I stopped into see Dad about 7:30. He was sitting up, trying to watch a show on Chaco Canyon although he seemed on the verge on a PBS nap. He perked up and we visited a bit while watching the show. (It was fascinating as Chaco always is...) If there were any big events other than rehab and bad food, he wasn't talking! Morning x-rays showed no problems and his heart rhythm remains strong. He did lap the ward today, by far his longest walk, which is hugely important.

Now his work is just to get stronger. He's still much weaker than pre-op. That's largely up to his own determination and perseverance.

Helen, Will and Scott showed up to say hello as we were leaving.

And so attention turns to Mom.....
